ANNOUNCEMENTS
FOR THE MUSIC MINISTRY . . .

The music ministry at First Congregational Church serves both the participants and parishioners alike. For the participants, it is a time and place important for renewal of our faith, mind, body and soul. With our lives and daily schedules packed full of family and employment commitments, music ministry allows the individual participants time needed to reconnect with themselves, allowing each to better minister to those in their surrounding community.

Music Ministry is an integral component in the practice of our faith as well. Singing in a choir, ringing a bell, participating in a congregational hymn, providing special music or even simply being supportive of your child’s music rehearsals and performances are all important spokes on our musical wheel. God has given each of us unique talents and commanded us to use these gifts in praise to Him. One gift He has given all of us is a voice, be that a singing or ringing voice. Rehearsals are a time for the music ministry family to gather together and sing. Our fellowship time focuses on learning the delicacies of the music and how we can best use our voices to encourage the music worship of not just the choir family, but the greater church family as well. Church history is discussed as well as tradition and faith.

Please reflect upon the gifts God has given you and consider sharing those gifts with the music program at First Congregational Church. God may have a wonderful experience in store for you, He simply asks you to open the door to His Music and Glory. Senior Choir Rehearsals are held on Thursday nights from 7-8:30 PM.

Youth Ensembles include Youth Handbell Choir, Cherub Choir and Youth Choir. Each group performs several times during the year including Christmas Eve, Palm Sunday and Mother's Day. Rehearsals take place in teh sanctuary following Sunday morning service. You can find age requirements and a rehearsal schedule on the Youth Ensembles page of our website.

The First Congregational Church Memorial Handbell Choir Rehearsals are held on Thursday nights from 6-7 PM.
