WOW!  Vacation Bible School 2005 Takes a "Serengeti Trek!"

Making the journey coast of Maine to the heart of Africa (without even leaving Scarborough!), the kids of First Congregational Church were "wild about God" during this year's Vacation Bible School, held June 27 - July 1.  Nearly 110 children from age three through grade five, 25 middle school, high school and college aged youth as crew leaders and volunteers and 20 adult leaders from throughout the life of our congregation were involved in this week long Christian education and outreach event at the church, which included lots of new songs, crafts, games, stories, all sorts of interesting snacks, and even one chipmunk named Chadder!  What follows is the first part of a gallery of pictures that give a small taste of what VBS is like on the African plain!!
